Description: Shadow Mountain Behavioral Health System is currently interviewing Inpatient Therapist, Kansas, OK (LPC, LCSW, LBP, LMFT) right now, this occupation will be placed in Oklahoma. More details about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. The Inpatient Therapist provides
assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, delivery and documentation
of individual, group and family psychotherapy, facilitation of
behavioral changes, and discharge planning to meet the needs of
assigned patients (ages 4-17). Provides clinical guidance and
education to nurses and direct care workers. Provides patient
specific treatment, adhere to patient safety standards, assure
p! atient rights, prevent/identify/report abuse, and oversee qual! ity of
individualized therapeutic interventions. Achieves positive,
sustainable outcomes with youth presenting serious clinical problems.

Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors and
communicate significant observations to the physician and other
members of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Maintain contact
with patient, family/guardian, and service providers
(internal/external). Participate in treatment planning and team
meetings. Maintain a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and
engages in constructive interactions. Ability to collaborate and
compromise and to work cooperatively as a member of the treatment
team.

Requirements

21 years of age

Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or
related field

Previous supervisory experience

Valid professional license (LPC, LMFT, LBP, or licensed PsyD,
or PhD Psychology). License eligible/under sup! ervision for specified
positions.

Maintains annually mandated CEUs

Ability to monitor patient safety for assigned patients

Ability to implement early intervention, de-escalation,
restraint, and seclusion protocols

Able to deal with stressful situations and changing
priorities

Able to lift, carry, and lower 35 lbs without assistance.
Able to safely confront and manage a dangerous or aggressive patient,
to verbally descalate, set limits, and provide supervision to
patients with behavior disorders.

Must have current diver's license in good standing / ability
to drive self/patients to appointments.
