We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant / CNA / Caregiver to join our team in our senior living community. Must be a vibrant and dynamic personality with A LOT of energy and a sincere passion for working with seniors and provide peace of mind through quality care to seniors and their loved ones.
The Certified Nurse Assistant/CNA/Caregiver will be responsible for promoting the health and well-being of every resident by providing direct care to residents while promoting the resident’s highest level of functioning. Certified Nurse Assistant/CNA/Caregiver assists in maintaining the resident’s environment in a safe and neat manner within facility standards and State and Federal Regulations.
Responsibilities:
Provides personal care to residents per their individualized plan of care; documenting all pertinent information regarding care as assigned, and report status or any changes in resident physical and/or mental status to management per community requirement
Performs clinical procedures including vital signs, B/Ps, weights and other trained procedures as directed by management according to facility standards and scope of practice regulations
Prepares residents for meals and assist travel to and from the dining room. Assist residents with meal set up and eating
Completes prevention and restorative care including, but not limited to, PROM, AROM, ambulation, transferring, bathing, grooming, and all other ADL care
Assists with toilet and incontinence care, turning, positioning, and repositioning as outlined in the resident’s service plan
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors
Knowledge of and ability to adhere to HIPAA policies
Certification of completing an approved Certified Nursing Assistant course is required
Six months experience in long term care is preferred
Must meet all health requirements, including TB
Must pass criminal background check
