Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

To manage the day to day operation of patient admission areas( to include the PBX area) employee counseling, performance evaluation, financial counselors and staff scheduling. Assure that all information received by ancillary departments is complete and accurate. Must be available to work any or all hours to insure coverage of the admission areas, this includes weekends, holidays, evening, and night shifts. Will coordinate call with QDS of facilities. Assistance in information gathering for budget process, Interacts with patients, family, physicians, nurses, managers and other staff. Performs all work in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Monitors staff performance and ensures prompt employee performance evaluations are conducted in an objective, impartial manner.
• Ensures continuing education provided for team through quarterly inservices, video programming, Swank and other educational material and opportunities.
• Ensures department orientation is provided and annual comptency levels demonstrated by team members to ensure effec tive performance

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager) preferred or obtained within 2 years.
• Experience: 2-5 years admissions or business office experience (including supervision) required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
