The paramedic provides patient care in the emergency department and hospital setting utilizing specialized skills and training unique to this unit! . The Paramedic performs tasks and duties within the scope of their job description as well as those delegated by the Registered Nurse (RN).
Education/Experience: High School Graduate or GED. 2 Years experience as a Paramedic.
Licensure/Certification: License from State Department of Health as a Paramedic ( www.ok.gov ) BLS, ACLS required, PALS and PHTLS preferred.

Skills:
Computer skills to document in electronic medical record
Excellent cognitive, organizational and interpersonal skills
Good customer service skills both in person and via telephone
Excellent physical assessment skills
Multi-tasking and completion of ongoing processes simultaneously
