This position is in the pediatric pulmonolgy clinic.
Job Summary: Assess, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care utilizing the nursing process as ordered by physicians for the purpose of facilitating the effective del ivery of patient care.
Education: Completion of a state approved Registered Nurse program.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
Work Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways. Working knowledge of intramuscular and intravenous medication administration techniques. Working knowledge of nursing principles and protocols. Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality. Effective and appropriate assessment and assistance techniques required in the medical examination of patients. Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Ability to be detail oriented in the examin ation of clinical and numerical data.
