Job Function!
Performs routine patient care functions such as physician assistance, patient placement, testing, information gathering, nursing duties, chaperoning, supply maintenance, scheduling, conflict resolution, and personnel supervision. THIS POSITION IS IN OUR DEVON CLINIC.

Required Education and Experience:
Position requires a High School diploma or GED and 24 months experience in Patient Care with Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant certification; OR 36 months in Patient Care in lieu of certifications.
Equivalent/Substitution: Will accept an equivalen! t amount of training and experience
Required Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses:
These requirements may be imposed by federal, state or recognized accrediting agency as a prerequisite of employment
CPR certification and certified as a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant to be eligible with 24 months Patient Care experience

HIPPA ? This position will have access to PHI during the course of his/her work activities. The employee or employees will be responsible to access PHI information only as needed to provide care or follow up care. Applying the minimum necessary standard of HIPPA, the designated records sets to which this employee will have access include: the full GE Centricity electronic medical record and the GE Centricity Business (IDX) Practice management system.
