ry requirements.
Education

• Must be a LPN
• A minimum of 3 years of resi­

dent care experience in a health
care community and at least one
year administrative or superviso­
ry experience

• Experience in geriatric nursing,

emergency care or first aid

• Must obtain valid Continuing

Education credits as required by
the state

• Must have training in the spe­

cial needs of the cognitively im­
paired resident, i.e. Alzheimer's
and Dementia training with focus
on Validation Therapy

• Must have excellent communi­

cation skills
