Description: Epworth Villa is currently interviewing C.N.A. -- Epworth Villa -- Nursing right now, this vacancy will be placed in Oklahoma. The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is responsible to provide personal care and other household chores for residents. He/She will provide specific personal care needs which may include bathing, grooming, toileting, nourishment, etc., in a manner conducive to the resident’s comfort and safety. The CNA must have excellent communication, organization, and time management skills to ensure the efficient delivery of care. Working under the supervision of an RN, he/she must be able to follow the individual care plan and document all activities accordin! g to current policies and procedures.

The ideal candi! date for this position must have a high school diploma/GED, with further training leading to CNA and CPR/First Aid certifications.

The following is a representative list of duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
-- Provides personal care following the individualized resident care plan and according to the shift assignment sheet, as needed
-- Performs household chores for residents which include but are not limited to: stocking the pantry, food preparation, and cleaning
-- Provides personal care assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, nourishment, rest, activity, transferring, and answering call lights in a manner conducive to the resident’s comfort and safety
-- Delivers care by following Epworth Villa and Oklahoma’s Standards of Practice for Health Care
-- Observes and is alert to each resident’s condition and provides timely reports regarding changes in resident’s behavior, appearance, and physical ability to ! the Charge nurse
-- Attends all in-service education required by Epworth Villa
-- Performs other duties as required
