ER/Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Description: Connections Healthcare Staffing is at the momment seeking for ER/Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner right now, this position will be placed in Oklahoma. Our client, a very small hospital in OK, near McAlester and Muskogee, has a need for an ER NP to join their team.
A complete shift is 24 hours Shifts start at 8 A.M. . At the current time they would work in the E.R. 2 days a week. Clinic days could be 2 days per week 8 hour shift. New grads could not manage an E.R. independently.
This individual is totally in charge of the E.R. and must be able to run Code Blue situations and intubate patients. We do not staff the E.R. with p! hysicians. They would see an average of 16 patients in a 24 ho! ur period and 95% of these patients would be classified as urgent care type patients. They stay in a room at the hospital and they are not seeing patients all day - only when someone presents for care. 16 patients in a 24 hour period leaves them plenty of time to sleep or do whatever.
The salary is negotiable. Current rates for ARNP's here in Oklahoma are minimum of $50.00 per hour. The owner would probably offer a salary through his clinic which would include health care benefits, and this person would work here in our hospital.
This is a great retirement place and the cost of living is low. The lake is truly beautiful. The town is about 1.5 hours south of Tulsa, about 30 min from Muskogee and McAlester.
