Position Overview
! To assist the RN by providing direct and indirect patient care as needed. Directly responsible for monitoring the ECG rhythms, pressure and SaO2 monitoring. Is responsible for clerical and receptionist functions of the unit.
Position Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent
Six months prior experience as a Nurse Aide in a health care environment or completion
of a Nurse Aide training program required
Completion or a basic arrhythmia course required
Unit specific basic arrhythmia testing with a score of 80 or above
