Description: Oklahoma State University is hiring Temp - Medical Office - Document Scanner right now, this occupation will be placed in Oklahoma. Will report to a Clinical Supervisor and will be required to access current paper medical records then manually transfer the information from the paper chart ! into Nextgen EHR via typing. These individuals will have an opportunity to learn workflows in Nextgen EHR, gain exposure to a highly used Electronic Health Record system, provide peer-to-peer quality review to ensure data integrity, and contribute to process improvement.

Experience:
Preferred minimum of 1-3 years of experience in data entry, preferably in healthcare. Computer competence and clinical background may be substituted.

Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses

Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge
This position requires a high school diploma or equival! ent with specialized nursing certification (CMA, RMA, etc.) or coursework in healthcare administration to accurately be able to interpret and abstract information from a current paper medical record into an electronic format.

Requires a demonstrated ability to accurately enter a significant amount of data. A data entry and typing test will be administered.

Experience working with MS Office Suite, specifically with Outlook, Word, and Excel, and with Adobe products.

Candidates should be technologically savvy.
