Clinic Coordinator

Location: Tulsa Oklahoma

Description: Part-Time Pros is in need of Clinic Coordinator right now, this job will be placed in Oklahoma. More details about this job opportunity kindly read the description below. Tulsa Clinic is looking for a Full-Time Clinic Coordinator. The Clinic Coordinator will promote excellent customer service, coordinate therapy services with agencies, maintain therapy records, various clerical tasks, obtain insurance ! verification and authorization, and maintain therapy/therapist inventory records and maintenance. In addition, The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for billing Sooner Care and other claims, direct, at time of service delivery, payment for services from on-site clients of payment and receipt of business debts and credit.

Working hours are Monday â€" Friday 9:00am â€" 4:00pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete billing of all Sooner Care claims by Tuesday of each week.

Complete bi-monthly services rendered audits for client billing of therapy services (Therapy To Go) on the 16th and 1st of each month by noon.

Submit notes on therapy services within 24 hours of receipt to referring agencies and COTA/PTA staff as appropriate.

Enter in all therapy notes, into software the day they are received.

Follow up with patient file to ensure the frequency and duration established in initial evals, recerts and reeva! ls are within the designated certification period.

Co! ntinually update knowledge of Medicare billing and reimbursement requirements as it pertains to home health therapy services.

Maintain confidentiality of company, service location, and patient/family information.

Follow company and service location policies and procedures.

Establish positive customer relations with physicians, attorney, employees, and the nursing home administrators/staff and community health care providers.

Demonstrate the ability to relate well to all levels of staff; must enjoy working and interacting with people.

Maintain good communication with relevant departments in the company and at service locations.

Maintain needed supplies and work areas, making requisitions and recommendations as needed.

Use equipment safely and properly.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Demonstrate a consistent level of performance; strives to maintain a steady level of productivity.

Reg! ularly consult with supervisor on areas of further instruction that would be beneficial.

Address clients, visitors, and co-workers in a pleasant and respectful manner; displays courtesy at all times.

Consistently execute job duties and demonstrate willingness to assist co-workers in the completion of daily tasks or special projects to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency.

Prepare, maintain, and clean treatment areas and equipment; maintain supportive areas as assigned.

Maintain needed supplies and work areas, making requisitions and recommendations as needed.

Maintain a clean work area at all times.

Transport patient records, equipment, and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures within the facility.

Conduct all activities in an ethical and professional manner..

Answers the telephone, coordinates and directs calls to communications within the office and with traveling staf! f.

Type reports, memorandums, summaries, progress notes, gener! al correspondence, and other general typing duties.

Maintains and updates departmental appointment calendars in order to facilitate

day-to-day operations

Manage all patient intakes and referrals for services including completion of: patient information, notifying therapists, and obtaining all required physician protocols and insurance authorizations, through the referring agency prior to treatment.

Experience:
Understanding of complicated accounting tasks.

Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience with medical billing â€" Sooner Care, Medicare

Excellent customer service skills

Supervisor Requirements:
The professional hired will not be responsible for the direct supervision of any staff.

Knowledge and Abilities:
Effectively adjust daily schedule as required to perform urgent assignments or special projects.

Recognize, establish, and de! al with priorities promptly.

Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development over life span.

Ability to assess data reflections of the patient’s status and special needs, based on functional barriers, utilizing current accepted principles, practices and theoretical models within the scope of practice.

Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.

Ability to handle and resolve challenging problems.

Work is performed in a medical office setting.
