Description
The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of ! patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.
The ED RN will deliver quality care by offering excellent customer service.
All employees participate within a team centered approach towards patient care.
The RN must possess exceptional communication skills, critical thinking skills, and independent decision making skills.
General responsibilities include:
patient assessments, holistic care involving patient families, the ability to delegate tasks, display proficiency in order entry and Meditech.
The RN must also assist the department manager in staffing the department in a safe and cost effective manner.
Occasional assignments outside the department may be required.
Qualifications
Education: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certfications /Licenses: - Current state Nurse license - Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR)! Certification
