The Nurse Practitioner participates in the medical program's activities based on GEO's goals, objectives, aims, and philosophy according to standards, contractual obligations and job requirements.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Maintain a current copy of license on file in the facility at all times.
Certified to practice as a nurse practitioner in the state in which the facility is located.
Submit a copy of professional certification and certificate of professional liability insurance coverage at the time of hire. Copy of professional certification to remain on file at the institution where services are rendered at all times.
Assumes sole responsibility for professional liability insurance.
