LPN/Medical Assistant - Specialty Clinic

Location: Tulsa Oklahoma

Description: Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta is in need of LPN/Medical Assistant - Specialty Clinic right now, this position will be placed in Oklahoma. For detail informations about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Greeting patients, contacting other medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for surgical procedures, tests and/or admission. Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government and other external sources. Performing office duties such as answering the telephone, maintaining information/patient files, completing insurance forms and preparing reports. Scheduling medical procedures and appointment for patients, explaining treatment procedures, medications, diets and physicians' instructions to patients, assisting physicians with examinations and treatments, administering medications, changing dressings on wounds and removing sutures.

Requirements:
A minimum of two years experience in a medical office practice. Licensed Practical Nurse preferred. Preference will be given to certified Medical Assistant.

Experience in general surgical practice, orthopedics or multi-physician practice a plus. Must be comfortable with daily use of computers and be strong in medical terminology.
