This position has the responsibility of supporting the mission of the hospital, which is to provide patients with the highest quality of healthcare within an atmosphere of genuine caring! . In addition, the perinatal nurse is responsible for demonstrating the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to all patients. Also, for meeting the established standards of NAACOG nursing practice in supervising, delegating, and coordinating personnel assigned to the unit and patient care when in charge. The OB RN also promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license as a registered nurse in the State of Oklahoma. BSN preferred. Current Basis Life Support certification required. ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider preferred. One or more current years of acute care hospital experience as a RN with one-year experience in Labor/Delivery, Post Partum, Nursery, or NICU required.
