The Registered Nurse in Radiation Therapy is empowered to deliver personalized comprehensive oncology care to radiation patients through the nursing process, combining therapeutic use of self, innovative technology and collaboration among patients, families and health care professionals. Is responsible and accountable for providing leadership to non-licensed staff as demonstrated by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating radiation oncology nursing care for optimum patient outcomes. Current Oklahoma RN Licensure. Completion of CTCA Conscious Sedation class. Current CPR & ACLS Certification. At least one year of RN clinical experience in last three years in an outpatient and acute health, setting. Experience with oncology patients and radiation therapy strongly desired. Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current nursing practices which are unit/age specific.
