Position Summary:
The RN provides direct patient care by utilization of the nursing process in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Southwestern Medical Center. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties within the scope of practice of a RN according to the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act. Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care. Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
Licensure/Certification/Registration-Must possess a current Registered Nurse License issued by the State of Oklahoma, BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale Certification or obtain (NIHSS) within one month of hire date. Nims Training 100,200,700. Must complete Nims 800b 1 months after hire date. We offer training on-site.

Experience:
Successful completion of an orientation program or equivalent experience. At least two years ER experience preferred. PALS AND TNCC certification preferred.

Education:
Graduate from an accredited professional nurse program.
